I started bathing my dog in the shower with me, instead of leaning over the tub.........it is easier. My husband waits with a towel, and it goes much easier. Now, he wants to go in the tub or shower anytime, and if we don't have the door closed tightly, he is either putting his front paws into the bath water, or finding an opening in the shower curtain, to try to hop in. Anyone else have a bath tub buddy! lol

My fiercesome pitbull Squirt, loves to get in the shower. Scares me to death when I'm not expecting her, and she noses in.

How cute!

Banzai is VERY curious and wants to be in the "know" but he's never tried to jump in- he just wants to lick the water off!

Buddy, now he steers clear because he doesn't like getting a bath.

So no bath tub buddy worries here! :D

:lol-sign: That is so funny! I have considered dragging Meg in with me. I may have to get one of those no-slip mats and give it a whirl!

OMG yes!!!!...my golden will jump in the tub with me if I'm not pay attention. I had started a bath one day left to get a clean towel and came back to my boy splashing around in the tub, with a big goofy smile on his face. My stomach hurt I was laughing so hard. My other 2 are curious, and will poke their heads in every once in a while, but won't come in unless they are invited...lol

BB.......get a non-slip mat and try it. You'll never take a shower alone again!!!! LOL
Hey, it's better then my lab, (miss him), who refused to get near the bathroom if he suspected a bath.

When Maverick was a pup he'd come racing into the bathroom and hop into the tub with me when I was having a bath. He stopped doing that when we'd grab the shampoo and bathe him every time he was in there. He likes being dirty! Steve showers with mikey but keeps his underwear on lol. Sometimes I shower with maverick because he's just so big but most of the time i just lean over the tub. None of them like it though!

Surprisingly, Oakley doesnt ever try and come in!

lol, kinda random, but my lab teacher was just telling us how he and his wife's house that they are renting only has a tub, so if they forget to close the door to the bathroom while its filling up, the CAT will take a swim, LOL!

Nope definetely no bathtime buddies here. Hannah will come in and smash her nose up against the shower door and stare at you but would never come in the shower. The only time she will get in the shower happily is when she's getting some type of meaty bone that will take her awhile and make a mess and that's because she eats them in the shower.

Too late for the mat! I was housesitting last night, and they had the perfect set-up - glass shower stall with a wand in it. So, Meg came in with me and got nice and clean:) . I hadn't noticed just how much she was starting to smell like a horse until...she didn't.

She actually seemed to enjoy it, at least a lot more than she likes her baths at the barn. Her tail stayed loose instead of tucked, and she was perfectly comfortable moving around. Who knew? Thanks for the idea!

Riot LOVES water..

Whenever I'm in the shower and the door is open he'll usually wonder over, push back the curtains and shove his face in and lick up the falling water lol

He hops into the bath tub voluntarily when the water is running to play in it.

He dives into any puddles he finds outsite.. I think hes really a water loving Lab trapped in a Belgian body ;)
