found here

Please note that the following videos are very graphic. Some people may get very upset by them. Really, we all should be upset and contact the officials who can do something about this. There are people who are in the process of contacting CNN with thiese videos. I really have no words to say, only tears. kris

I sent those links to CNN and my congressman and Senators. If that is what our military is like today, I am ashamed to admit that I was ever in the service.

You can also send a email to the white house and let them know what is going on...

I choose not to watch it and I know all to well that we are no better in war then the ones we fight. I grew up during Vietnam and heard too many guys come back admitting the things they did too. War is ugly no matter which side you are on.

This is disgusting.
These are the people who are supposed to be setting examples of honor and heroism, and this is what they are doing? The sickening stories of what is going on with some soldiers really makes me even more ashamed, war aside. Defenseless animals, innocent children...and that's probably not even the worst of it (though, animal cruelty is about second on my list of worst things a person can do).

They wouldn't do anything about it...

Realy, care to explain why you would think that? Other than the biased reporting what makes you think the news orginizations*edit on* you emailed *edit off* care either?.

I went through and emailed the various Fox shows, especially the dog owners. I also sent an Email to Laura Ingrham another dog owner.

put your cross down Bob, just because you were in the service doesn't mean that you somehow played a supplementary role in any of this. out of the thousands of American Dads, Mothers, Brothers, and Sisters risking their very lives in Iraq, you and chinchow want to condemn all of them because you see a couple of punks abusing a dog. sad as it is, i think people need to reign their anger in a little.

it'd take a lot more than that to make me ashamed of MY service.

People, please don't generalize this and make the assumption that all soldiers are bad because of the pathetic actions of a few! I hate to see these kinds of things - in good part because I feel for the dog, but also because I KNOW that some people will make a broad generalization and all those thousands and thousands of good military people out there can very well experience bias because of it.

It's an unfortunate thing, but there ARE bad soldiers - just like there ARE bad cops and bad teachers and bad child care professionals and bad dog trainers and bad accountants and bad postal workers and bad restaurant workers. People who abuse come from all professions and walks of life, and the abuse these guys are perpetrating has nothing to do with being soldiers and EVERYTHING to do with being scum. I know, I know .. soldiers should hold themselves up to a higher standard, yadda yadda yadda .. but the reality is that the normal military person does not have to have any specific skill or even quality of lifestyle in order to become part of the military. It's appalling, what they've done, but it would be every bit as appalling if it were you or one of your friends or a gas station attendant or a professional photographer or a wedding planner. It's the ACT, not the PROFESSION, that should be attacked here.

And unfortunately these videos will probably be played by the news media and sensationalized to the max .. and used against the occupation more than against the individual. Now people can run around and say "soldiers are animal abusers" .. great, huh? What kind of narrow-minded person draws such a conclusion? Too many, unfortunately, have that narrow-minded mentality.

The number of soldiers out there abusing animals and children is probably no higher of a percentage than found in the general public.

Melanie and Sinnik (gasp!) I agree with you.

Why is it when something comes up that shows abuse, people start madly generalizing entire groups of people. There are people who skin animals alive in China for their fur, and when this is mentioned I always see something said about "chinese culture". If a soldier abuses a dog, then the military is in a shameful, sorry state. If a cop shoots a dog, all cops are trigger-happy psychos.

I know it's human nature to generalize and judge, but I wish for once that more people would see things like this as the actions of an individual and not that of a group, culture or occupation.
