Friends that are in a relationship together are fighting. Like big massive major fight.

And I'm staying out of it. As much as I want to get involved and try to help... nope. Nope nope nope. In matters of Friend v. Friend, I steer clear.

BUT I WANT TO FIX IT.

And they're both super upset too... so it's even worse.

It's cold. It's gloomy. I have to work in an hour and I've slept like crap the past few nights because of PMS-related insomnia. My legs STILL hurt from the workout I did Thursday night. Sawyer needs a good park run but A) my legs won't take a lot of walking around and definitely no running and B) the snow has this really hard crust on it and I think it hurts him. So he's just all cabin-fevery and chasing the cat, who is being a little hellion of her own.

Did I mention I'm PMSing? And still out of coffee?

SO signed up with them when he moved out here over a year ago. Since the credit card is in my name, we signed up under my name.
We've had NOTHING but issues with them since day one. But the biggest issue seems to be them not letting us pay them.

Now since he's cancelled (just under a month ago) he's tried several times to pay his balance, and they refused him and ran us around in circles. Now today I've got a flipping debt collector calling me? Stating there's been a letter sent to me regarding the matter (haven't gotten a thing!).
I think I've finally got this all figured out....I think. Balance is paid, still on hold to ensure I wont be billed any thing else....

That's why he initially went with them. We only heard great things, and really the product and services he got was fine. But the customer service interface was so not user-friendly for us.

They've just been ridiculous to us. Throughout the time he was with them they would refuse to take his monthly payments unless I was present, because my name is the one on the credit card (he paid cash or debit, never tried to use the card himself). Then when we tried to put his name on the account officially they had us run to 3 different stores because "the other store is the main store" and still by the end of it all, had no luck.

Then they refused payment in the end because it could not be done in store, and they wouldn't reset our pin code on the phone for some unknown reason.
Now I've paid but it's saying my next bill is due on March 1st. There better not be another bill.

And hopefully these debt collector calls will stop.

That's awful! Did you call the insurance company and ask? Am not at all saying this is what happened, but I have seen times where members will sign up with an HMO and don't select a PCP and the plan will auto-select it, but the member goes to their old one anyway without telling the plan. Or the member will select a PCP but for some reason their contract terminates after their selection and the information gets crossed in the mail or the physician specializes in two things (let's say internal medicine and cardiology) and for some reason the system picks up the cardio id and makes it look like it can't be used as a pcp.

Some of these plans are very confusing! My own plan is confusing. I have a base amount that the plan spends (where I have very little cost share if at all) and then I have a gap, where I pay 100% until I have paid x amount and then its 80%/20% after that. My own PCP tries telling me I had a deductible and I was like NO I don't. The first amount is not considered a deductible. My plan pays first. I had to explain to the biller what a deductible was. I was very displeased.

I changed my PCP online and it says it goes into effect March 1st. WHY DO I HAVE TO PAY FOR TWO MONTHS OF INSURANCE IF I CAN'T USE IT UNTIL MARCH FISRT. It's bullshit.

I sent message to both my doctor and my insurance, just waiting to hear back


FWIW I did get my insurance card today FINALLY, but it's apparently pointless if I can't even use it.

Ugh. Such a busy week.

I'm house sitting for a dog/cat family, dog is an easy keeper and comes over to my house when I'm not at theirs (we train together so he knows my dogs well) but has to go to daycare across town 3x a week. Cat needs insulin injections 2x daily. Also dog sitting tomorrow evening for a golden puppy - owners like routine so when they have to leave the house, for almost anything more than a few hours, they have me stay with her. Pay is good, alright...

Was hoping to go see my parents tonight (my only free night this week!) because I need to give my dad some money and drop off Frag to keep my dad company while he's home sick because he's getting very depressed not having anyone around. Also needed to drop off my tax information to my accountant in my hometown and use my dad's jack to change my oil. Not the biggest fan of my parents, but they help me out, I help them out, and they were going to feed me.

Except I got a call this morning at work asking if I could do a private this evening with a dog park member's new puppy. Its' been over 20 yrs since she raised a puppy and she has an 11 week old beagle that she is fit to be tied over. Lost her 13? year old beagle a few weeks ago to a stroke- my favorite member from the park. I love that dog and this woman too much to say no, so I'm not going to my parent's house tonight, apparently... or will have to go very late and miss my accountant and probably dinner. Plus side is that it will be a fun, easy private.

I CAN use the money, so I shouldn't be complaining. Just more stress to my already stressed/packed week.

Patton got a nice full grip on my only work khakis last night and ripped a huge hole in them, then I got my car stuck in the driveway of the people's house who I'm sitting for, for almost an hour at 10pm last night alone.

Trying to juggle two jobs + dog sitting + a small business and train a new employee...

2014 is just not my year. 2013 was great, I was not expecting life to go downhill so fast.

I don't understand how a logical response to this huge important problem is to throw your hands up in the air and say "Just **** it."

12 hour shift today and I'm draggin' @ss already.

It is so frickin' cold and this winter feels like it's just dragging on forever. I don't remember winters being this bad even when I was a kid, but I suppose when I was a kid I didn't really have things to do. I'm all full of just general malaise... sad. Tired. Feeling sick a lot.
I want to run outside so bad, but not bad enough I'm prepared to risk the ice. I know so many people who have fallen and broken various parts of their legs and arms, it's not worth it. The pavement will feel so wonderful once the ice is gone.

I think I just have to make it one more week... next week they are forecasting high temps to be above freezing ALL WEEK LONG. Next Saturday is even supposed to be a whole 50 degrees. I'm so excited about that. Two days of rain in the forecast too, which might make for a big sloppy mess, but if it stays above freezing during the day, that will go a long way toward getting rid of all the snow and ice everywhere... the nights and early mornings will be bad, but it will make a dent in it at least.

But this is really wearing on me in a very unique way. On top of everything else the weather is just not helping.

Oh. My yoga pants were all dirty so I got to wear khakis with a hole in them to work. Fantastic.

No motivation to work on my research paper due tomorrow. I've already got a good start on it but meh. I'm so tired and mopey today.

I'm at work and on the verge of crying. I can't take this anymore and I hate that I can't even really talk about it publicly because my boss might see my post. I wish we could move to New Mexico sooner.

Ella is depressed. Majorly. We tried putting a small stuffed animal in her cage with her, but it just doesn't help her.

I just want to cry. Nacho can't be in the cage with her, he panics and attacks. We don't have any ferrets in rescue waiting to be adopted that I can grab. It's just a waiting game, and she's miserable

FYI, an old friend of mine may be relinquishing her young ferret to the rescue... watch the emails.
