Was my first day off in 8 days today, and I missed out on the one thing I was most looking forward to. It was mostly my fault for poor planning, but if everything had gone to plan, there wouldn't have been a problem...the only silver lining is that I got to spend the entire day with my dog and he was awesome.

Need to do my taxes and choose a mfing health insurance option. Welcome to adulthood.
Oh, and the health insurance? I'm paying a hell of a lot out of pocket if I need surgery or to be admitted to the hospital. Regular plan, $30/week, $1000 before they will pay out for surgery/hospital. Deductible plan, $12/week, everything except for imaging and surgeries is covered but the deductible is $2000.

opcorn: I think I'd rather stick to my $50/week and not be afraid to be admitted to the hospital. Can I get insurance for my insurance deductible?

I sent a message to my doctor asking if I could bring in my letter saying I have insurance so I can get seen and get my meds refilled.
I get a message back saying "We found your information online, but you have a different PCP listed and a high deductible, so you have to change the PCP and pay us $50 until your deductible is met"
THE **** I DON'T BITCH. I have NO deductible, and no co-pay, there is NO ****ING WAY I'm going to pay you $50 for shits and giggles. I'll change doctors before that happens.
