Another husky definatly, As soon as i get my own house with fenced in yard im getting as many as im aloud they are the perfect fit for me. I will probably do most through breed specific rescues or the humane society. Koda is the best dog ive ever owned I dont care what people say they are the breed for me.

Either a small breed of some sort or a lab/lab mix. Whatever it is, it will be from my local shelter, and it will be within the next 4-5 years. I would also like a basset hound from a rescue and a doberman from a breeder in the far future.

We won't be getting a second dog for quite some time, we have to be in a house before we even consider it.

What it'll be depends on where we are at the time and what our priorities are. I've wanted a Newfoundland for years, and if we go purebred, that's what we'll get. However, I'm too much of a sucker for rescue dogs, so it's pretty likely to be a who-knows-what mix from a shelter :)

I want to get a medium or large dog, wait a few years, and then add in a papillion. (I figure it's best to get the large dog first so I can train it, since a large rowdy dog could be hazardous to a toy breed.)

For the large dog, I'll either get an animal shelter dog (lab mix, collie mix, border collie mix, something like that--I saw a GORGEOUS collie mix on Petfinder the other day) or curly-coated retriever from a breeder or perhaps a golden retriever from a rescue group. Probably an adult dog or a puppy at least six months old . . . young puppies are such work!

edit- I am also looking forward to rescuing. I'd love a Shar Pei mix.. Or a Catahoula Dog. Or just a large breed rescue. But I won't ignore other rescues. I will start looking for a rescue probably within a year or two.
We used to have a shar pei x houla mix in the shelter. Her name was Lola. :D I will say a merle shar pei looking dog isn't the cutest thing, but she was really sweet.

My roomie's boyfriend came to see her and loved her, but he's not getting a dog until he gets back from Iraq again.

Depends... next dog will either by my next show dog (Doberman, female) or another corgi. But I've got at least two Dobermans "waiting in the wings", and the corgis are more of my SO's thing.

ESS, Toller, or Belgian... someday I will have one of each, but who knows which will come first!

ESS from WilDen, Toller from Vermilion, or Belgian rescue (most likely Mali or Groen)

A Border Collie, of course. I'm waiting for our financial situation to change and it has been and should be in the next few months. I'm planning on going through a BC rescue, unless my shelter happens to bring in a BC.

I never thought I would own any other breed of Dog besides a Bully breed (Amstaff, APBT or AB etc...) but finding quality breeders of these breeds that stress sound temperament and sound healthy bodies is hard to find.

I have been helping someone in my family and friend do some research and I am actually thinking my next dog, (which I hope is a long time from now) will be a Rottie, GSD or maybe a Presa. These breeds have bad breeders to but wow they have some real good breeders (at least the Rottie and GSD).
If you want to, I can PM some good APBT kennels.

Most likely my next dog would be a Hungarian Vizsla. I love everything I read about them and love the ones I actually meet.

We get a ton in... many purebreds and a lot of puppies too. Lots and lots of really cool border collie mixes as well. They've all sold me on my next dog.

Well, after much debate.. I finally decided to go ahead with another Toller for my next dog. My decision was finalized just recently because I found out about a litter being planned that I think would be absolutely perfect for me... not that I've even been approved for a pup out of the litter yet and we don't know how many will be born, but I can hope. I want one of these pups more than anything.

I see another Collie in the next year or two:eek: . It will hopefully be a show prospect.

In all honesty though, I have a lifetime to enjoy dogs. I have a high interest in GSD, BC, and I am pretty confident I will have another St. Bernard at some point.

 I forgot I wrote that. The dogs were being particularly bad that day, lol.

My real answer, uhm...
I'm looking at a few breeds right now that I would probably get from a breeder (Cardigan Welsh Corgi, Beagle, Harrier, Golden Retriever, Otterhound). I'm also looking at Australian Shepherds, which I would get from rescue.
