Zumi Leads

My husband is already annoyed by the biothane long line because "We already have a perfectly good 20ft long line!"
Yeah, except that it's cotton and gets wet and peed on. Ick! And it's really hard to get a grip on while wearing mittens.
He only got excited about the new long line when I said we could get orange, his favorite color. I bet I could talk him into a Zumi lead if we got the new blue and orange, since those are Syracuse colors :rofl1:

This is my life, basically. I don't think Josh would throw too much of a fit with new dual leads as we had a Mendota that he LOVED and it got lost. So.. new slip leads and he'd be game I'm sure.
Now two new leather collars from Kharma and a 6' leather leash for obedience. Yeah, don't think he'd be okay with that one.

I just got one maybe two months ago. I love the look and functionality but I don't use it much for Jubel, I'm actually using it for my foster dog now. It's too thin and Jubel pulls to hard when he lunges after critters. That doesn't happen THAT often but hurts when he pulls with the zumi lead, with a regular flat nylon mesh leash the force is spread out more on my wrist and doesn't hurt.
I'm trying to think of how I could add some padding or something to add bulk to the handle to rest on the back of my wrist so this doesn't happen. Not sure if I'll figure something out to work. Jubel's critter drive isn't going away, it's manages so that he only lunges after them when they pop up really close to us but that still happens too often for me to use the zumi with him full time. Foster pup actually flips out more over critters but he just doesn't have the strength to cause any issues for me on the zumi.

They go up for sale next week after the contest is done.

They can make me a martingale AND assuming my stamp will work with their equipment (it should because I believe they have several other ImpressArts stamps just like it) they can put my football helmet stamp on it too!!
YAY Payton will have a nice appropriate Payton-esque lead!! It should be done in plenty of time for Louisville too!

Oh dear... Since joining this forum I've been looking at all of this great stuff and have never heard of Zumi before! I sat here all day thinking and finally after learning that they also ship worldwide I just ordered a dual lead for Axel I spent about 20 minutes changing my mind about the colours and stamps haha! I know my boyfriend will not be too impressed but oh well!
