Yogurt

I hear alot of you talk about how you give your dogs yogurt some as a regular staple in their diet. I was just wondering what it does for the dog? Like how is it good for them? I eat alot of it and tend to always let Pixie lick the bowl and gave Tucker his first taste last night. And now im considering maybe buying some plain and keeping it as a special treat for them.

Active cultures are very good for you - and your dog's. They are especially good to make up for the bad effects of antibiotics, and balance the flora in our system. Other than that, I don't know the specifics, I'm sure Mordy will be able to tell you though. My boys get some about three times a week and they love it.

It needs to be the kind of yogurt with live cultures. Acidophilus is the 'good bacteria' that helps fight bad bacteria and keeps things balanced.

My dog sometimes gets a runny eye. I give her some plain yogurt when this happens and it goes away. If your dog gets yeast infection as well, give this to her and it will go away. Save you some money on vet bills. This also works great on humans. I am an athlete and I do this too.

The benefits of probiotics aside, it's also a food that's easy to digest and most dogs love the taste.

My son loves yogurt and a tub is always too much for him so we give some to the girls and they absolutely love it!

How about non natural-plain yogurt ? because my dog doesnt like the natural-plain yogurt?

He loves the yogurt have some sweet taste, non-fruit.

Is it ok to feed him 3 teaspoon per week?
