Personally, I dont care about brittanys divorce, or katies wedding, or orland blooms new girlfriend. I dont care about all that sh*t they put in magazines nowadays. I DONT CARE! I DONT I DONT I DONT. Why do people thing we care? I mean, seriously! Its all a load of junk and a waste of time and money.

Thank you, Katie

Because some people DO care.

And that's sad.

But it's also the audience they sell to.

BTW wolfie what's your signature of? It looks like Fight Club.

It belongs IN the pot.

It is sad. But, I mean, WHY? WHY MUST THEY NEED TO KNOW ABOUT SOMEONE ELSES LIFE?
I know.. right.. lol

I think a lot of it has to do with people's general views about celebrities. Celeb's obviously live a much richer life then us commoners do.. so people tend to think of them as different a species.. or type of human.. like they're immune to simple chores we do.. house hold things whatever.. so when a celeb is going through a divorce people say "OMG.. so and so is just like me.. I went through a divorce.. yada yada yada or I'm battling anorexia.. so is Nicole Richie.. I can relate to her".

I think these magazines try to give people a glimpse of what a celebs life is really like, and its not all a bunch of roses. They are everyday people just like us... just with a much higher paycheck :p

If Nicole Kidman is on the front of one I'll buy it.. I admit :D

It's called "vicarious experience". I do the same thing to a lot of bands; it's silly, but I love reading interviews and stuff with them because it gives me a glimpse of the "real" person behind the stage presence.

Honestly, I'm not sure and I don't give a hoot.

I have more important things to worry about who is dating who and who is divorcing who. And to think these people are looked up by the youngins these days... ugh.

Because it's obviously important!!

I mean - how would we know what to wear, how to dress and what to think?????

How on earth can you be individual if you don't copy the new individual style of the latest celebrity?

How would you know what's COOL and what isn't???

LOL

;)

I don't really care. There are a few non-brainless celebrities I admire that seem to be doing things that aren't just for the image. I like Ellen Degeneres especially because she rescues and pays tons for rescue work.
