I needed some advice on wet food for cats, I have just gotten my kitten home (for a week now) and the breeder fed him Iams dried and Whiskars wet so I followed the same but I have already started him on Arden Grange for kittens yesterday (mixing tiny bit of Arden Grange to his Iams) and will slowly do away with Iams.
I checked the Arden Grange website here but they do not sell wet food and in Holland, everywhere I go is Iams, Science Diet, Whiskars & Purina wet food. I wanted something much better, can anyone give some advice? There is no innova available here and I do not want to continue with Whiskars or any of the crap brand that is widely available here.
Thanks.

Unfortunatley, I don't know what foods are available in Holland, so my usual suggestions are probably worthless :(

What I'd reccomend is really scrutinizing the ingredients on any foods you CAN find available and use the best of what you see. If you need any help, post the ingredients of what's available and I'm sure I (or other members) can help figure out which is best! Good luck!

Is this something you are going to feed everyday? I give my cats a can of tuna sometimes but I don't think you can do that too often because of the metals. Why don't you supplement with a bit of wet, raw food?

Yes its something I will feed everyday, he gets free feed of dry food and when I'm home after work, I'll give him the wet food.
I bought some cod fish which my colleague feeds to her cat, she microwave to cook it before feeding. Wondering if I should do the same?

sure. that's what I do. :) You'll want to ask mordy though about other options and various fish. :)

I would NEVER reccomend microwaving anything that has bone in it still! Feeding it raw would be great if your kitties will eat it :) Mine won't go anywhere near raw fish...
