(apply sarcasm liberally)

Due to the mass riot and stabbing at school on Friday, we're not allowed to wear shirts that arent tucked in. Kinda sad, isnt it?

Tell me about it. Weve been on the news about 6 times this year already.

Riot + Stabbing = tuck in shirts?

Something tells me there's more pressing issues here than a shirt tucking.

Well, there was a stabbing last year and an even bigger riot with like 3 gangs involved. I wouldnt be surprised if they bring out the metal detector wands again tomorrow. That, and cops stationed throughout the halls.

What the heck is HTFC?

And our school had a rent a cop, regardless of nothing big ever really going down.

The rent a cop did shoot himself in the foot, though. That made for an interesting day.

I honestly don't know, and I don't think they know either. Or at least they didn't tell us.

I just know that a gunshot in a school is very noticable and kind of unnerving. There was a bit of blood in the carpets til the cleaning people doused the area in hydrogen peroxide.

I'd imagine it had to do with not putting the safety on and him bumping the trigger some how. Or maybe the hammer was pulled back and he jostled it.

hmm... most law enforcement guns don't have a safety or a hammer.

So that would make it even more interesting. :)

Well actually the safety is the trigger with somewhat of a double action.

What do you mean by "rent a cop"...........because I can't believe that a school would consider an uncertified person as apposed to a deputy that is certified and able to conduct.

Our county has a county deputy assigned to our highschool....has been thru everything a road deputy has. But he is in the school instead of on the roads.

Is that what you mean by rent a cop?

It really hurts me with the killing mentality of the youth today ! So stupid !!! What hurts me even more are the innocent who are killed. A 13 yr old was shot walking home from bullets being fired between two cars. He called his Grandma from his Aunt's home and said , I'm on my way . Only good thing , he had already wished his organs be donated .... the bullet hit his head and he was brain dead .... they put him on life support and 20 people were saved by his unselfishness . Bless Alex !!
