Don't give up!!!! I regret giving up something that I enjoyed...time just slipped away over the years. I've actually thought of starting again. Remember you are your toughest critic. Besides I'd hate to travel halfway across the country to kick your butt.

ok, since everyone else is sharing.... My name is Jennifer and I am 31, unfortunately turning 32 October 9th. I live in MO with my husband who is a Corporal Patrolman for our local Sheriff's Department, my 10 year old son Trevor who plays every sport from football, baseball to soccer, Gunner, 2 cats, and 2 dogs outside. I graduated August 2004 from Drury University Magna Cum Laude with Bachelor degrees in Criminal Justice and Psychology. I work for the Sheriff's Department in the jail. I've been there 6 years and they are announcing my promotion tomorrow. THANK GOD!!!!!! I am also a commissioned law enforcement officer and a volunteer at a local Family Violence Center. I love coaching my son's soccer teams, reading (I have over 600 books currently) My favorite shows are Will & Grace, Law & Order, Desperate Housewives, and Killer Instinct. I am a very sentimental person as some of you know. I cherish family and friends and am my toughest critic. I listen to all kinds of music regardless of what others think. I live in the country and wouldn't trade it for the world. My biggest dream is to be able to travel more unfortunately at this time my bank account is not cooperating. lol

Hey Jenn, I got you beat, at least by age.... just turned 33 in August (such a leo)... Since you shared....I have a hubby 5 years younger, YEAH!, but acts older than me (lol). I had my first baby at 31, never even thought I would become a "breeder." haha! Love her to death, and has inherited my "animal gene." She fears nothing, just like her mom. I took her to the zoo I sometimes do work with and let her pet some lions and tigers. The monkeys there really took to her (the females) and brought their babies out to show her. She loves my Boxer and vice versa, she has been bitten ONCE by my blue and gold macaw, which treated her nicely, since they have a thousand pounds of pressure per inch in their beak. Just a warning.
I also have a black lab/chow mix (looks like a black lab, with a black tongue), and african grey and a 'teil. She really gets the animals and I can't wait to see what she does for a living....
I now live in Reno, NV where my hubby is a firefighter. I am a military brat, my dad, who is awesome by the way....my hero retired 3 years ago. He was Green Beret, Special Forces. We have had to live all over the world. My mother is my strength (besides my dad teaching me how to kill...haha), but in a different way, she is my inspiration. I am originally from Boston (there goes why I say what I mean, haha) and I have a sister who is 8 years younger than me and expecting her first child in December. My passions are animals, of course. My family (father, mom and sister and I) love to fossil hunt and have been lucky enough to hunt for fossils all over the world including Europe and Africa. I collect Egyptian art and have some items dated before Christ. So, I would love to travel to Egypt, Australia and Madaggascar to name a few.
I love Key West, and go when ever I can....
Forgot to add, a few month back, I got addicted to E-bay, and started collecting old/rare/1st. edition books. I have quite a collection and even got a book for $30.00, that is worth between $2500.00-$3000.00. Entitled, Clockwork Orange, 1st edition, with dust jacket incase someone is interested..haha Most of my books are from the 1800's. That's all I can think of now, except I now run a pet sitting service.

Not really late to the game here.

Im Dan Im 31, single. Born and raised in Alaska, nowhere Ive ever been I want to live so Ill stay here. Bought my house last year and didnt have to move, I highly recomend it. Have 1 older brother and a younger sister half sister but she is still my sister even though she has a different mom than my brother and I. I did spend a year living with my dad on a horse farm in NC, also went to a private boarding school in OR that I got expelled from.

Been an electritian for 13 years, never went to college. Spent 4 months in the USMC, screwed up my ankles and was medicaly discharged.

Played bass for a number of years. Used to be a climber ice, rock and general mountaineering. I monoboard and I might even still have the only teleboard in AK but you never know.

I want to start homebrewwing again, wine instead of beer. Okay brew both. Im planning on taking a welding course soon so when I get my shop built I can get started on many projects, building my own otorcycle and rebuilding my postal jeep from the frame up.

Im done so you can wake up and carry on with your lives.

I think I know where your ex is going to be when he's an adult, Dakotah. He's going to be one of those creepy guys who sits in his cell and stares at you when you're taken in for speeding (and no I don't know what speeding in a car feels like LOL).

Lets see...I'll play :)
I'm Chris (Christina Danielle...no one calls me that besides mom and dad when they are FURIOUS with me,which hasn't happened in a while) I am 23 years old, and married to an awesome man named Tim, who is 26. We met while I was still a senior in h.s. and he took me to my senior prom :D I am desperatly madly in love with him (I know...you can stop the fake gagging noises now) I currently work in a group home for delinquent teen boys...Nov. 11 I am OUT OF HERE!!! (yay!) Then we will be living by ourselves for about a year, moving to TX where Tim can finish his mech.engineering degree and we can start foster care with BABIES!!! Well maybe toddlers and kindergartners to start, but little ones instead of big uns this time. While we are in PA we MIGHT do emergency respite care for infants...we're not sure if we'll be in the area long enough that they will want us. I aspire to be a loving wife, a great momma to my babies and others, someday maybe work as a missionary in an orphanage, follow God's plan for my life and own many many dogs. I also like to write and would someday LOVE to have a childrens book or two published. I'm an EMT (I actually met my husband of 4 + years in the class) and .... yup running out of things to say. Oh...Dakota, alcohol ISN'T all it is cracked up to be...I actually waited until my 21st b-day to indulge and though the mudslide was tasty I wasn't totally enthralled. Like someone else mentioned I have seen the devestation being an alcoholic can cause, though more through seeing drunk driving accidents that I have to save people from, and dealing with kids abused because their parents were alcoholics or the kids dealing with their addictions...bad news in over ubundance, like all good things if you have too much.

My turn, my name's Martine (like you'd never have guessed!), I'm 32 and from Wolverhampton in England, which is pretty much in the middle of the county. I'm the youngest of four girls, and I got a few nieces and nephews, with more on the way. I'm an English and film graduate, so I love reading and watching films, listening to music and spending time on my own thinking and hanging about on Chaz. I love the odd drink of real ale & red wine, although my days of hangovers have gone, hopefully. I smoke the odd cigarette, but thankfully have never taken it up as a full time habit.

I'm married to Bill (3 years last week), 43, who is Scottish, but was bought up in South Africa - we met at work, although we then lived miles apart. We lived together in Wolverhampton and got married in Scotland, plenty of kilts and highland dancing.

Bill has two daughters from a previous marriage aged 29 & 17, they live in the UK but visit regularly. They are great girls and their taste in music is slowly improving, lol.

18 months ago we moved over to Spain and set up our own property business. It's been a steep learning curve and sometimes scary, but I love living over here, so it's worth it. I''m trying to learn Spanish & regularly try to have conversations with my neighbours when I'm out with Misha, they probably think I'm crazy.

Well that's me!!!

Oh guys alcohol is nasty! I've got drunk once, I was 18, I had gone to the UK in a family for 2 weeks, and they took me for a drink with their friends. They got me drunk, 3 pints of guiness on an empty stomach when all you've drunk in your life is a glass of wine from time to time. I couldn't walk straight, managed to hit the sink with my head in the bathroom and I was sick for 2 days, with a horrible headache. Now I hate guiness and I'm never getting drunk again.

For me, I'm 27, I'm French. I have a twin sister I rarely talk to, and a brother I even more rarely talk to (I'll spare you the why's or it could take hours). My parents were relatively well-off and my dad had a friend who was the boss of a travel agency so I spent 10 years of my life travelling every spring. Been to Canada, Egypt, Germany, Marocco, Turkey, Ireland, US...

I got a degree in English at the University when I was 21 (a 3 year degree, you don't have those in the US I think), then wasted 5 years of my life getting married to an idiot and divorcing 5 months later, having a dog we had to give away, and trying out programming studies that didn't end up well (long story, I had to do stuff at work to get the degree, and I ended up in 5 different jobs where I had nothing to do). The last year I got an apartment in Paris and bought a cat, she's still with me now.

I met my husband online at the time (in that addicting game called Everquest), and I moved to the US 3 years ago to live with him. Since then I haven't been able to find a job (I can't really call my 5 years of working experience, and my degree is basically useless here) and we've been trying to have a baby, and we're undergoing fertility treatments for it. We got two puppies this year, Boris and Tips.

I love video games (been playing ever since I was 4), singing (I was in a choir for 3 years at the university, we played the Requiem of Faure with orchestra among others, and we made a few CDs, and I was in a show the last year), reading, all kinds of musics. I'm not a very social person and I much prefer one good friend to 10 acquaintances, and I really haven't met anyone since I moved here, so I mostly play with the dogs, read forums and play games all day, which kinda sucks, lol.

Boring isn't it?
