the chickens are now 5 1/2 weeks and 6 1/2 weeks (2 batches for those who dont read my blogspot lol)
well they were supposed to go out at about 4 weeks...

this evening we finally finnished the inside of the coop (and the outside is done enough to be escape proof, intruder proof and water tight...)

so 2 1/2 bags of shavings, food and water and 11 chickens all whent into their new house.

its an 8' x 8' chicken mansion, a full 36" x 48" double glazed window with 1/2 inch hardware cloth over it (so we can actually leave the window open without worry of rats or worse, racoons and foxes getting in!)
and both the pop door and the main door are latched and locked shut.
if anything manages to get in there...well...there super mutants!

i must admit, a small part of me is worried about them...ive grown quite attatched to the little stinkers, and theres always risks...
but in all honesty they were getting too big and pooping too much to stay in the livingroom.

so if i can get lots of "safe" vibes for the cluck clucks, that would be awesome!

Sending my good vibes for the chicks!

I want to see pictures of them since they've grown.
