Nah, just kidding, she plopped next to me on the couch, so she stays for the time being. LOL Besides, I think there's been enough destruction at your place for now. Hope you get that all taken care of quickly!

So tired. Sleeping 12-14 hours and taking 3hr naps. It's not like I'm being lazy, it's the side effects of the meds. It's impossible to wake me up. A fire alarm couldn't. Pile drivers didn't.

Tenant's insurance? Here you have to legally have it to rent. Also, your lease agreement may have answers regarding what happens in the case of disaster.
Renter's insurance doesn't cover anything except personal belongings, and only ones you have catalogued at that. The roof and window would be covered by homeowner's insurance, but NOT renter's insurance.

Oh I know, I was referring specifically to her belongings. Everything else falls under rental agreement and other nitty gritty, sadly. :/

All this talk about trees falling has me studying the trees close to our house and what would happen and what would be covered if they fell ... I think I will call our homeowners insurance provided Monday :/

Just found out last night that my 18 year old sister may be pregnant...

She has no job.
She's HAD no steady job.
She barely graduated highschool.
Her friends are idiots.
And she has NO IDEA what is in store for her.
(And, she and her boyfriend are obviously idiots. Because condoms and Plan B are around for a reason. They didn't even try. It was just all, "Oh, let's have unprotected sex multiple times with no anti-baby protection and see what happens!" I told my sister next time I see him, he may walk away with a black eye. And when my dad finds out, he may walk away with the inability to ever have any children ever again.)

On the bright side, my dad has good insurance, my mom and myself are here to help, her boyfriend isn't a bad guy (just STUPID), and my sister, if she gets her act together, will make an awesome mom. There are certainly children being born into this world in much worse circumstances.

But, if my sister IS pregnant...Chloe's life will be ending in about nine months. She cannot be around a child. Period. I was really hoping I wouldn't have to make this decision for another few years, but looks like it may be happening sooner rather than later. :( *sigh*

It still is surprising to me that there are still people (most are younger then me!) who still adopt an "it wont happen to me" attitude.

I am 2.5 hours in to looking for the new jeans my mom bought me for Christmas this year.

They were in my hand Sunday night. I know where I put them. They were gone in the morning. They remain gone.

I am so, so unhappy right now.

I seem to have developed a cough. It's been trying to get a grip on me for a couple weeks, but tonight, just... :(

I have a bit of a runny nose, but I'm not congested. I actually found out that adderall actually helps with congestion the same way ephedrine does, so at least I shouldn't get congested this cold season.

Feeling very unappreciated today. I love how my wants are ok as long as they don't interfere with anyone elses. *end sarcasm there.

Woke up and it appears that the cold I've been keeping at bay for the last week has broken through. Snarked at Matt (who remained cheerful the weirdo), snarked at the dogs, felt horrible, cuddled the dogs, cuddled the baby, and now I'm at work feeling sorry for myself. I hate being sick.

Gabby has PRA :(

Hopefully she'll qualify for a study with a drug trial (OcuGlo) but the ophthalmologist said hers might have progressed too far already.

Boo :(
