I'm really happy that Avatar only won the awards it actually deserved, while The Hurt Locker took home half the show, and well-deserved too. Definitely a film to see if you haven't already.

I am so bummed Avatar didn't win best picture, but so happy for Kathryn Bigelow! I watched the whole thing while doing other things- it's not just about celebs, it's about celebrating their talents. I LOVE movies, it's one of my favorite things to do, it's like reading a book- I like to get lost in a good story every once in awhile.

Up in the Air is one of my favorites, I really like Anna Kendrick. I just loved the movie, but I think Monique did an AMAZING job in precious

Precious for me was just way too hard to watch, still havent finished the movie. lol

Waiting to get Up in the air from Netflix now... glad it was released that fast on dvd.

For avatar, as much as I loved the movie, I think without the 3D it would just have been average.

What a long show! But I watched it. George Clooney looked bored and Kristen Stewert looked pissed when the camera panned out for an audience shot. Ben Stiller dressed up like an Avatar character was funny and the spoof on Paranormal Activity was hilarious especially when Steve Martin slapped Alec Baldwin LOL! I found the whole show a little boring but I'm happy Sandra Bullock won best actress, she deserved it.
