T-minus 12 hours!

The torture is almost over!

Tonight, after I get off work, provided all of my paperwork is done (it's my last day before a 2.5-week vacation YAY), I get to go pick up Miss McGee and bring her home to stay!

I'm so excited and nervous all at once. So glad I get to take vacation to help her settle in. I'll also be trying to finish up my PhD applications during this vacation, but shoot.

Good grief... I don't know how to get it done today. In some ways, it's bad that I've posted so many pictures of her with the litter -- now I have all these threads to just go and gaze at, longingly!

I KNOW. But, I have to meet all my deadlines before I go on vacation. I was originally supposed to pick her up tomorrow, but I was like H*LL NO. My vacation starts the minute I leave work. I'm picking her up Thursday night!

So, now I have clients until 7:00p. Then, I have to write all my notes on those clients before I get to leave and then I'll make all my deadlines.

So, hopefully by 8:00p!!!

Thanks for the chuckle! I will try to find her the highest quality box around. Maybe she'll tolerate me knitting her a little bitty blanket for it. The duct tape is just the bling that box needs.

Yeah, she IS pretty cute. I don't understand how her sisters can look so much like purebred chihuahuas while she looks like a chihuahua x italian greyhound mix. But, she's pretty darn cute.

I've been doodling little sketches of her all day long. NOT DURING SESSIONS. No. Stop it. Not during sessions. I would NEVER. *cough* But yeah.

Dude. New pictures will be coming right away. If I had my scanner, I'd scan these gosh-darn doodles that keep coming out of my pen all day. Some of them are kind of cute.

I was on the phone earlier and realized that I had actually doodled a stork with a basket. I mean, c'mon. You don't even have to be an art therapist (which I am, but still) to realize that I am distracted by the new baby!
