(Soft) Ear Question

My GSD mix puppy's ears have always stood straight up (at least for the 2 weeks that I have owned her). Well, I just noticed tonight that the tip of one of her ears is now starting to fold over. The weird thing is that the tip is falling back (toward her tail) not forward like most ears fall. What's up with this? Why are they falling now? Any thoughts?

GSD ears can go up and down while they're puppies, mostly due to teething.
My GSD Dante has a "friendly ear" which means that just the tip of that ear is soft and 'waves' as he's running.
It's really quite cute
