Quick! Help with Rally entry

I registered Fleetwood into two trials at a benched show, but I didn't think it was going to be any different. But after registration, it asked me to fill out a benching request that MUST be filled out.

It gives me two options, "Bench with Exhibitor or Agent in breed section", or "Bench with Exhibitor or Agent in multi-breed section"....

I have no idea what this means for me, and what I should do or what I do when I get to the show ...? What if I had a mixed breed?

...sorry, I'm no help. I've never done a benched show..benching just doesn't appeal to me at all. Come to think of it, I've never seen a benched show around here. My guess, and it's just a guess, is that you'll want him in the multi-breed area since you're doing rally and not conformation. But like I said, that's just a guess.

This is the last rally trial listed until August (or maybe July, I can't remember) for this area, so I really want to do it


There was a stipulation for the multibreed section that you had to have more than one breed there with you. Which I don't... So I selected the breed section option. But I did email a show events chairman, and I hope I get a response /:

Ah, that would make sense. Then you're not having to run back and forth between dogs in different areas.

What if I had a mixed breed?

Are mixed breeds allowed there? I've never seen a benched show that permitted mix breeds.

The IKC show here is, AFAIK. It popped up when I was looking for trials for Mackenzy.

Maybe the mixes get their own section?

At the IKC only Saturday is benched. They also hold two trials at once...both IKC...one is confi/obe and the other is just obe...mixes can only enter the second one which is (I think) unbenched all days including Saturday.

Now here, it says that only those requesting to be in the multibreed section or benched together must complete this form. That's not what it said on infodog...

Usually, mixed breeds are specifically included, instead of specifically excluded. From what I've seen, anyway. So, you won't see "No mixed breeds" - you'll see nothing at all. Or you'll see "Mixed breeds welcome" instead of nothing if they're allowed.
