Puppy Sleep

How much is it normal for a puppy to sleep in a day? I'm not around my puppy all the time but I'd imagine he spends like ten to twelve hours in a day sleeping. Is that normal?

I guess what I'm saying is, do puppies sleep even more than grown ups?

Puppies - especially young pups - sleep tons during the day. Much more than most adults. It's perfectly normal.
