im confused. i adopted my puppy at a shelter and he just got his first set of shots and deworming at 6 weeks.

now he is 9 weeks and i called several vet places and some told me that he needs a series of 4 sets of shots. 1 at 6 weeks, 2nd at 9 weeks, 3rd at 12 weeks and 4th at 15-16 weeks w/ rabies included.

another place told me the first set should be at 8 weeks, 2nd at 11 weeks, 3rd set at 14 weeks and 4th at 17-18 weeks.

which one is more appropriate to follow and would it be ok to walk him after his 2nd set of vaccines? i dont want to continue with him poopin and peein on the pee-wee pads because i dont want it to become a habit.

i also notice that he mite have had fleas due to significant scratchin near the ears and biting of the paws. i saw a black bug on him that went into his coat and was never found again so im suspicious. is it ok to start using FRONTLINE or Advantage on him at this age and at 5lbs or less?

Hi, the puppy vaccination plan I am using is @ 6 weeks, 2nd at 9 weeks, 3rd at 12 weeks and 4th at 15 weeks w/ rabies. I would NOT walk your puppy anywhere there have been other dogs until after 13 weeks and 3 shots minimum; I use a mild flea shampoo and Frontline on my puppy. Hope this helps.
