I figured you guys would be the ones to ask.

I'm trying to find a way to have my dogs have their legally required but also god awful hideous rabies tags on their collars and thereby on them without me having to look at them. I just... find them repulsive. Granted, the Aussies go to great lengths to assist me in not having to bear the site of them by covering them in things like mud and frozen on snow... but these creative covers come off with a little soap and water or some warmth.

Does anyone have any suggestions?

Why not just get a collar, and have their name, your info, and rabies vaccination number embroidered on it?

Mine only wear collars when we're going somewhere, and even then their tags are usually in my bad (I need new clips). And my guys would see those Quite Spots and go play tug of war with them. LOL

It's just the rabies tag that is a problem. City I live in wants the rabies tags on the collar. I have no problem with name and address info... just need... something to hide that god awful rabies tag in cause... they're hideous.

I agree though, anything larger and dangely is a doggy tug toy.

This is what I had Mick's tags in. Back then, tho, they didn't have the patch on them with the company name.
