MMMMMMM sausage gravy over biscuits! Making me hungry just reading about it!
We go to a little diner owned by a woman in her 70's. She cooks, her daughter is the waitress, granddaughter busses tables and takes your $$. She makes the best sausage gravy!!

me, too. altho we did have bacon this weekend. it isn't our 'norm' to eat something so cruddy...but it sure tasted GOOD!!!!!!!!!! (ok...not like sausage gravy biscuits, but a close second!)

BP that is the lovely thing about fried apples, you make them to your taste! I usally peel and slice the apples just like I would for a pie. I heat butter in my cast iron skillet and throw the apples in. I sprinkle with a bit of sugar and cinnamon (but you could leave out the cinnamon if you want) and cook until they are tender.........MMMMMMMMMM, YUMMY!

that's exactly how I make mine...YUMMY (Renee didn't see us say 'yummy' did she???) sooooooooooooooooooo good. soooo fall food. and apple crisp, which is on the agenda for tomorrow! delish!
