I can't tell you from the pedigree but the ginormous chain around the stud's neck doesn't make me very easy about what that kennel does. The b*tch looked really skinny as well.

Are you interested in dog fighting?

Too me the mother and father look very thin and that chain worries me.

I have to agree, the mom doesnt look pure to me, but I could be wrong, but she is still awfully thin and that chain probably weighs more than that poor stud. These people need to be turned into animal control and have them investigated

I am sorry but if you were told it is a fighting line I would nt risk it.Plus with the parent lack of care I doubt the puppy or dog that was given to you has had much socializing.
Agreed.

I agree too espically if you have a one year old human baby. Big chances you are taking there. If that dog bites your kid it could kill it or mame it for life.

They fight pits. On that site is a forum devoted to the training of fighting dogs. Of course, the forum has a disclaimer that says it's all "fiction". Yeah right. I wouldn't risk it with that pup.

Are you " trolling " here ??? Please, we don't need another pitbull issue. I feel something is " Rotten in the State of Denmark "...if you're serious, you have to fill us in more on age etc. Just to post 2 pictures of fighting lines doesn't go here !

HI
The dogs that you showed dont look like they have been fought b/c the ears would be cropped. They do that so when the dogs are fighting they cant grab on to them. Both dogs as far as I can tell have full ears. I noticed you said you live in the philippines so maybe its different there. Also if they are fighting their dogs you might notice treadmills, springpoles used to build endurance and muscle. (these are often used by non fighting dogs also... so not a really good sign) and you might see bait dogs (dogs of different breeds they use to train their dogs to fight).

If they are from a fighting line just how far back in their line were the dogs used for fighting? The ancestors of the pits were used for fighting thats why quite a few pits are DOG aggressive even though their lines have not have been bred for that purpose for many years. Its in their genes.

A true line of the fighting bred dogs were and still are not tolerated if they are human aggressive, b/c the handlers have to go in and seperate the dogs. So they were not kept if they showed signs of human aggressiveness. They might have a higher prey drive but there are alot of fighting dogs that have been rehomed with no problems after being temperment tested. They have become loving household pets.

I would try and find out more info on the kennel to see if they breed and keep the good temperments in their bloodlines.

I am in no way for fighting dogs in fact I think its very cruel. I own one of the goofiest pits.:)

I really don't know much about pitts... my neighbor has a lovely , friendly female pitt tied out with a 5 foot chain that could pull a Mac truck ! They have a 3 year old, but I never see the dog off the chain. She loves people, but I'm told she'd kill a dog. Yes, she was of fighting line. I feel so sorry for her.. she'd fed and watered and that's it ...........................

Not all fighting pitbulls have their ears cropped. I would worry about the puppies temperment, because people who fight dogs encourage aggressive behaviour.

The female looks full pit to me. The reason why you might think she is not pure bred is because she is the "working type" of pit bull. pits bred to work are smaller and lighter in weight than other pits.
