Has anyone else watched the first episode in this mini series for the summer? The second episode starts tonight at 10. All I can say is "Wow" what a intense crazy show. I am totally hooked and looking forward to the rest of the episodes. I like the cast/characters alot they are all equally interesting and confusing.

Yay for something interesting on tv this summer!

Its about 7 people who are kidnapped and wake up in a hotel in what im guessing is a ghost town (but a very up to date modern one). There are hidden cameras all over the town. But it seems they are also out in the "regular" world because atleast one persons relative has one recording her in her home.

Anyways the city is blocked off by what the seven captives are calling "pain guns" which is pretty much a big invisible fence that pretty much fries them when they try and escape.

There are other people who come in and out of the city though. A group of people who come and serve them at a Chinese restaurant in every episode. And the hotel night manager. They claim not to know who has the seven people trapped though. At the chinese restuarant though they get fortune cookies and some have some pretty specific disturbing messages inside them.

The seven people range from Soldier, Mother, Husband, Mental Patient, Seemingly Spoiled Girl, to Car salesman, and one guy who I am guessing can be classified as "Leader". All with different suspisions about why each of them are there. None of which pertain to all of them as a group though. All from different states and even parts of the world.

Lol thats the best I can do without giving away too much. Its a very intense show.

Funny you started a thread about this, because I watched it last night! I hadn't even heard of the show and was just flipping through channels. I stopped at NBC and the show was starting. I watched a few minutes of it and thought, "WTF is this?" and then was hooked. It is just so...so...twisted and wrong and weird. LOL I definitally think I'm going to be watching it this summer.

Although I hurt when they were cutting the chips out of their legs. I mean, OW.

OMG I know lol. That scene was so cringe worthy and realistic with their reactions. It didn't help that I was eating and then all of a sudden there is a screamy gory scene first thing :rofl1:.

I think next weeks episode looks even more intense.

Ya, I can't wait.

And can you believe I actually had a dream about it? My mom and I were also kidnapped and placed there, and we only had one gas mask between us. (Isn't the next episode about the fact that they get gassed and there aren't enough masks to go around...?) So instead of flipping out and trying to kill each other to get a mask, we did the smart thing....share it! :lol-sign: I would put it on and take a breath, then she would put it on and take a breath, then so on and so forth. It was a very odd dream. LOL

Im honestly not sure. They havent really interacted much in the last two episodes. He just seems like a good guy. And Moira (the black haired girl) actually seemed in the last couple episodes that she is attracted to the blonde girl. I was surprised they actually didn't have more interaction in this last episode.

The end of this weeks episode blew me away again lol. I love this mini series.

Ok I wasn't sure. I thought I had missed something. when he said to her that she could have his mask and then she asked to come along and help I thought maybe there had been some tension between them .....

Yeah that ending was CRAZY ... I am officially HOOKED. glad I started watching

How many episodes are there so far?

It sounds pretty interesting, I didn't watch many episodes of lost but when I did I really liked it. So as long as this show doesn't end the same as "they were dead all this time."

There has been three episodes so far, and I think you can watch them on NBC.com. Don't quote me on that, though.

And yes, I am officially hooked. It is just such a weird show!

Okay, I was going to watch it last week....and it wasn't on????? NBC at 10:00, right? Or did they switch the time/station? It was Last Comic Standing instead.

I'd like to watch it again tonight, but if I can't find it anywhere...
