This website is definately not news. Did I miss where this took place?
This would have been the first info. on a real news article.
This woman could have been picking up something and hit by a train for all I believe on that website.
Look at all the porn links etc. A dead giveaway not to even waste time reading such an article.
I think this website has as much truth as a horror movie. NOT MUCH!

Even with bad genetics, I mean come on, there was nothing left of that womans face. It is probably a huge factor but look at the majority of the dogs in animal shelters, they're no Lassie either but they can all be loving pets. That dog probably was just waiting to snap. That lady probably gave it a hell of abuse to get it that bad. Like constant beatings. I honestly do think that lady had it coming.
Shrehead, I went to school with a girl (mind you this was in the late 70's) who was attacked by a rotty no provocation (many witnesses around) and this dog almost tore off the whole side of her face. When all was said and done her faced was scared by multiple scars from stiches and surgeries. You do hear of dogs not just pits who attack for no reason. Dogs that are well taken care of. It is temperment not just hell of abuse. I own a pit, I know the risks of owning a pit, but I also know the line in which my pit was bred from. I cant say one was or another if that was a dog attack, but the one thing you have to remember that when dogs attack the more fear the one being attacked the more the dog is likely to keep on attacking.

genetics do play a huge part whether the dog was abused or not. It is not just pits who attack. I know that the womans face was very mangled but I want to note that pits have very strong jaws and it wouldnt take much to do that kind of damage. Im not saying you are wrong, there is a good chance that you are right.

That dog was also probably abused by some horrible owners. I've seen dogs that don't need any provacation to rip someone's face off. They've been through so much that they just snap for no reason. They're just like some people actually. If genetics had gotten THAT bad, Its a wonder how the dog was even bred without ripping apart it's mate.
Also I never said that genetics don't play a role in the lady getting mangled. I'm saying that that dog snapped and I've never heard of a dog, even with the worst genes, snap like that. Especially if it's had a proper upbringing. What makes it worse is that it was HER dog. It's not like it was a random dog walking down the street, it belonged to HER.
My friend rescued a pitbull that comes from what i would consider to be one of the worst gene pools. It's even been fought when younger, his dog get's along great with mine. It's possible that the dog snapped from just having bad genes but I think it's really unlikely.
