Okay, Next Photo Contest

It's okay with me if someone wants to illustrate one of the lyrics of a song - just be sure to reference the lyric and song title when submitting the photo (and again, not IN the photo).
On the two photos submission, I wouldn't mind, (I've got a few ideas percolating and haven't decided which would be best), but I think that could get a bit sticky with the voting. It would also be a lot more work for Charliedog.
An alternative for two photo submissions (if you all would like to show off your other ideas) would be 'non-entries'. You would post your own (rather than Charliedog, so they wouldn't be anonymous), and mark them NON-ENTRY or NE. The photos wouldn't be in the contest, but folks could comment and give you feedback on them. (If everyone wants to do this, we might need a separate thread for Non-entry entries.)

PS Hounded: I believe the rule is none of your dogs in the photo. You can always steal a friend's dog...

Well, of course they aren't as pretty as yours (unless we're talking about MINE, who are just too cute for words. 
) With the kids, I guess it depends on whether folks would recognize them as yours (which kills the anonymous factor), although that didn't seem to be a factor in the Candids contest. I don't see a problem with it... but might need to ask Charliedog or Chewbecca for an official ruling.

Only three? Boy, it sounded like a lot more people were interested in playing at the beginning...
Maybe we should try to set a timetable for this so people won't be trying to figure out when the deadline is; maybe something like contest submissions will always end Sunday 6pm, voting is Monday thru Friday, with the winner(s) posting the next contest either immediately after being notified on Friday or by Saturday 9am at the latest.
