So I have a couple questions and I'm hoping someone has some advice. We have two neutered golden doodle brothers (Charlee and Mr. Fripp). They have the same dad and different mothers and are within one months age of each other. Mr. Fripp is the older of the two and is almost six months old. They've been great puppies so far, but I'm currently having two behavioral problems:
1. When Charlee has a toy, chew, etc and Mr. Fripp comes near, Charlee will growl and snip at him. This leads to Fripp sitting and barking at him for long periods of time. Charlee is very good about not growling at people when food/toys are taken away from him, but it still scares us. Even if Fripp has a toy Charlee will try to take it, Fripp thinks it's a game, but once Charlee has it the growling ensues.....HELP!
2. How do we keep the pups from jumping on people. It's an odd situation because neither seems to jump on me, but when my wife comes home they won't stop and same with others. After 5 minutes or so the jumping ceases. Why do they not jump on me, but jump on others? Is there an easy fix?
We do plan on attending obediance schooling in January, but any advice would be appreciated!
Thanks again,
Dustin and Annie
