No, as far as know they are the only breeder's working on this Ganaraskan project. I know he has clients in the U.S. who he ships puppies to by plane and I know three American families are driving up to pick up their puppies for Christmas. I don't know about what registry they are recognised with, all I know is what I posted on this thread yesterday.
krisykris - Purebreds here start at $1500 and up. Our pup is about half that. As far as I'm concerned this is a fair price. I've looked into shelters and I know they start at $200 and go up from there depending on the breed.
Agility23 - I am in love with this breed. About six months ago I was in a card shop in downtown Toronto and I saw this lady walk carrying this adorable looking pup with this outstanding temperament. I got the phone # of the breeder, did some research and the rest is history. I had a Lab for almost fifteen years and I loved her very much and I do miss her, there's no doubt. However, I think we're looking for a smaller breed that doesn't shed. I doubt the temperament will be as amazing as my Lab but I think it will be very close.
I just can't wait. I literally have butterflies in my stomach.
