He's here! He's here!

My new Welsh Terrier puppy arrived a couple of days ago. He is as smart as he is adorable, and I am in LOVE. The first night was very hard as he was not fond of being crated during the night, but each night has gotten easier and easier. I'm hoping for at least 5 hours straight of sleep tonight, but we'll see...that might be pushing it.

I've been trying to follow the schedule in Positive Dog Training for the first week of training, and so far he knows how to sit! I'm so proud of my little guy. There's nothing cuter than a puppy that knows how to follow commands. He is also potty trained and hasn't peed in the house once.

Okay, okay, enough bragging. Besides, what you all probably want to see is right here :D I must admit, though, that it was VERY hard to get him to sit still enough to take a picture. He's a fast little thing!

Silly little guy...

Ready to pounce...

Doing a little dance...

By the way, I'm having trouble resizing these (sorry, I know most are huge), so if anyone knows how to resize images, please let me know! :)

He's cute! I've known one other WT and he was a neat little guy. He gave Labs a run for their money in terms of being obessed with water though and had moderate skin allergies (though they might have been related to the fact that he was an obese little tick dog as well)

Have fun with him! :D

Thanks! :)

Yes, we learned about his water obsession from day one when he insisted on having at least one paw in his water bowl while he was drinking at all times. After he put the other paw in and started splashing up water and making a mess, we had to end water playtime! :p
