I was told a couple of days ago that Aussies born with natural bobtails tend to have back problems? The majority of Aussies I have seen have bobtails, natural or not, and I have never heard this. True or not?

Not true. There was a theory going around for a long time, based mostly on studies done on Manx cats, that breeding an NBT to an NBT would result in a spine deformities, because that's what happens with the cats. The current studies being performed to "re-certify" this theory are so far showing no difference in NBTxNBT vs NBTxLT litters.

Thanks so much! You are the first person I think of when questions arise, so I'm sure there will be more.
