my 5 month old puppy chewed and possibly ingested a citronella candle the other day. for 2 1/2 days now, she has had terrible diarrhea, even though she does not seem to act sick. she is still playful and happy, just bad bathroom issues. how long does it take for the citronella to pass through her system? she has only eaten once, this morning (at the advice of my vet) but she seems like she is starving. she eats the innova puppy food, and has been on it for over 2 months now with no problems. will it upset her stomach to feed it to her tomorrow? I tried giving her rice, but she hates it and wont eat it. also, I feed her twice a day, what are the best times to feed her in order to regulate her bowel movements? or is there any specific times? she was also tested for worms or parasites, but none were found.

What was your vet's advice? I'd give her some canned pumpkin (not spiced).
