I picked up Lisa from the streets ready to give birth, she isn't actually mine but i adopted the poor dog. After 1 1/2 week she gave birth to 11 puppies; one died in birth unfortunately. Imagine how it is to take care 10 fragile but adorable pups (Lisa is first time mother).

Lisa was abandoned by her first owner who was the chief of the police station near my house. When he heard that Lisa gave birth he approached me with one can of dog food and asked me if he could visit Coca (that's how he named the dog) and the newborn pups! I asked him why he abandoned her just to get his family off for vacations and he replied that lower officers in the station was taking good care of her!!!(some of them did actually but others were bothered a lot and kicked her off).

:mad:Then angry i told him that he could get into my house to visit LISA but he was responsible to her and he had to take her back to his home!
HE NEVER SHOWED UP AGAIN! What a hypocrite !!!:yikes:

The good thing is that Lisa found a family that really love her and surely she'll get all the love she deserves!!!

Excuse me for my bad English because it's not my native language - This is a true story happened in Greece, the place where philosophy and democracy were born!!!

The puppies are a mix of a Setter (by mother) and unknown father

Pictures and a new video are on the way!

Thanks guys for your nice comments!

Good for you for stepping up to the plate.

This is exactly how I got my McGee. My boyfriend's cousin scooped a chihuahua out of a 5-lane intersection in traffic. The vet they took her to said she had been on the street for a long time, based on malnourishment, and that she had given birth to a litter recently in the past year. He wanted to get her better nourished before they spayed her. They tried for 4 weeks to find the owner, to no avail and decided (with the blessing of the local rescue) to keep her. It was only a week or two after that they they discovered that she was pregnant when they found her. The momma dog and her litter of 3 pups (including my McGee) all have new, wonderful, loving homes. We love all 4 of those girls and they have quite a survival story!
