I want to buy my puppy some treats and the best ones that I can find are Mother Hubbard's. I am planning on getting her the special recipe small puppy biscuits. Are these good for her or are they made with a bunch of junk like almost everything else?

Wheat Flour, Deboned Chicken, Oatmeal, Chicken Fat (Preserved With Mixed Tocopherols), Molasses, Flaxseed, Eggs, Whole Ground Apples, Whole Ground Carrots, Garlic, Sea Salt, Beta-Carotene, Potassium Chloride, Zinc Proteinate (A Chelated Source Of Zinc), Ferrous Sulfate, Zinc Sulfate, Vitamin E Supplement, Copper Proteinate (A Chelated Source Of Copper), Copper Sulfate, Niacin Supplement, Manganese Sulfate, Manganese Proteinate (A Chelated Source Of Manganese), Sodium Selenite, D-Calcium Pantothenate, Vitamin A Acetate, Riboflavin Supplement, Calcium Iodate, Vitamin B-12 Supplement, Vitamin D-3 Supplement, Pyridoxine Hydrochloride, Thiamine Mononitrate, Folic Acid.
They are a healthy treat. When I am looking for a meal item I want the food to list a protein source first. But, with treats since your feeding them every meal these are very good treats. They have no by products, sweeteners, artificial colors, they contain real meat...so, you are doing your puppy good. ;)

just as a side note, old mother hubbard products are made by the same company that makes wellness dog foods. so yeah, they are pretty good.

keep in mind that most of them contain wheat tho - just in case it ever becomes an issue. :)

Thank you very much for the replies. I have actually gotten many samples because the pet store has them out on their counter to give to any dogs that come in. My older dogs do not like any of the flavours, but my puppy just loves the puppy one. I just didn't want to actually buy them until I knew if they were good or not, since they are a little on the expensive side.
