Sorry, but I am head over heals for this puppy and was lucky enough to catch her waking up from a nap today! She's so active now that it's hard to get any good pictures!

Just waking up

Stretch!!!!!!!!!!!

Notice the beautiful correct ears!

Hey, do you think my sis would be a good pug candidate? She wants a smallish dog that will be good with kids and perhaps bark when people approach. Unusual requirements, I know. She doesn't have a lot of experience with dogs.

Gloria is such a cutie pie! Your pugs are by far the cutest ones I have ever seen! My DH always wanted a pug and in the far far distant future sometime lol, I think your adorable pics have made me agree w/DH :).

Pugs are small (under 20 lbs) and fantastic with children. They are sturdy too which is a bonus when a small dog is around kids. But, they won't really bark at people. Instead, they will do whatever they can to visit and greet a new person...tailing wagging and body quivering with "pet me" anticipation. Pugs love people. They are charming and outgoing. A well bred pug is rarely, if ever, suspicious.

If she just wants a dog that barks at the door bell then a pug might do that, lol!

Hm. Well I don't think she needs a dog that barks. She has people that sneak up onto her porch at night and she'd like someone with better ears to let her know they are there. Hm. I'll talk to her about that. I think she'd do well with a grown up rescue that's already housetrained. She doesn't have time to train a pup!

The other question is will Verde view a Pug as prey?

Im liking Pugs more and more because of your pics, I just need to think before I act. I have an Idea of how Verde wil do with pups, she views Erp the cat as prey however.

They sure are cute. I have really known a pug before but I liked the few I've met briefly!
