Was wondering if it was ok to feed my dog some frozen mixed vegie mix that is typically sold in the frozen section in the grocery store....to my recall it has green beans, green peas, corn, lima beans and some other stuff in it.

I might be off on the ingredients but someone might be able to fill it in for me....just wondering if it was ok to feed it...right now I feed my dog Wee Bites from Solid Gold during the day meal and then he gets Green Beans (no sodium) at night for his meal. But would like to give him some variety and thought the mixed vegies would be alright....suggestions would be nice as well, he is on a diet right now

Are you using the veggies for filler or for the vitamins? Dogs can't break down whole veggies, so if you want her to get anything from them, you will have to puree them.

Both of my guys get a cup of frozen green beans mixed in with their canidae for Breakfast and dinner. I use them as a filler. My lab is on a diet and my Newf has to stay amazingly skinny for his hips. This way, they feel full, but aren't getting any extra calories from it.
