A lady at my work is looking to temporarly re-home their puppy, a 5 month old 5.6 lb (breed currently unknown to me) puppy. She is asking if I can re-home the dog for anywhere from a couple of weeks to a couple of months. I currently have Thor, who weighed in at 44.4 lbs yesterday at the vet and is anywhere from 6-8 months old. They will both be kennelled, and I am trading toys with the other dog for a couple of days before I take the other one in, in order to get the dogs semi-acustomed to the scent of each other. I was wondering if there was anything else that I should do to ensure that the change of environment is as safe and sane as possiable for both dogs. Do you have any suggestions?

They will both be kennelled when not under direct supervision. They will have seperate training times, and seperate feedings, (probably the same food, innova). Is there anything that I am missing?

Sounds like you have your ducks in a row.
Might want to try a trial day to see how well they get along.
Be prepared for some jealousy too

The other dog is a Havanese. Does anyone know ANYTHING about these dogs??

--I am going to go check out k9country and other sites, but any personal experience will be appreciated.
