Letting pets sleep in your bed can kill you!

For S&G and because this is my day off, I ran justin001's post through Google Translate. Beats cleaning the house.
So this:
Went from English, to Spanish, to French, to Portuguese, to Yiddish, to Finnish, to Russian, to Zulu, to Latvian, to Polish, (all randomly chosen) then back to English.
It became this:

As far as the original post, phhhhht. A little bit overhyped, you think? It starts off:
"Medical researchers have long shown that contact with pets can often help both the physically and mentally ill. But now, veterinary scientists say sleeping with your pets increases the chances of contracting everything from parasites to the plague."
The plague. Seriously. But at least they didn't start off with Zombie pandemic or anything.
The common sense didn't come in until the second last line:
"The risk of getting sick from being close with your pets is real, but most of the diseases they pass on to humans can be identified and eliminated by regular veterinary care."
So yeah, if you think your pets look ill or wormy, take them to the vet before you kiss them on the lips (or somehow get poop germs in your mouth). Don't go kissing strangers on the subway either, you never know. I've seen World War Z.
None of our dogs will sleep on our bed anyway, even when I try to bribe them by tossing treats on my husband's pillow. Training the husband, not the dogs. He falls asleep downstairs in front of the tv sometimes. The dogs take the treats and go to their own beds, in their room across the hall. I don't think they want to have to try to sleep through my husband's snoring. And, let me tell you, they really hate it when I try to curl up on their beds with them. Again, husband's snoring...

Dogs in Bed
I've always let my pets share the bed with my kids, it has never been a problem. It does so much to teach the kids responsibility.
Yeah, this article showed up on another forum too. Dumbest thing I've read in a while. I send my 2nd graders to school everyday surrounded by far more nasty germs my dogs could ever hope to carry.
