I disagree Jenn...nobody has ever been 'banned' for objecting to Orion's opinions. but, that's what some people expected to happen to him. don't you see how unfair that is at all?? if you can't ignore someone who you don't agree with.....then it's silly. 'defend' yourself?? if a grown person sees someone as a bully, they simply ignore them and move on. to say you were 'wrong' for objecting is ridiculous. it's about EVERYONE being treated fairly. you can't PM a mod and expect someone to be banned. think of what would happen then....everyone would be banned in no time at all for saying something someone else didn't agree with. if you ignore someone being what you consider rude, then that person stops because there is no argument. when you insist on getting in the last word to 'defend' yourself...then of course things get heated. but you have to ask yourself at that point who is guilty of keeping it going.

La délicatesse, c'est pour ceux qui le méritent, Gustav. Notre bon ami, j'en suis convaincu ne s'offusque pas que j'utilise la même technique que lui lorsqu'il faisait parti du forum. J'aime bien provoquer, mais je trouve ça médiocre d'essayer de s'attirer la sympathie en "menaçant" de partir... c'est moche. Qu'il parte ou qu'il reste, mais de faire un thread juste pour ça, bleah!
Je fréquente plusieurs forums de discussions, et ce n'Est pas la première fois que je vois ça se passer. C'est pour ça que je suis très las. Je n'ai pas de pitié pour les gens qui veulent se faire dire qu'on les aime. C'est "cheap".

This is true. I PMed a mod about something he said that was EXTREMELY offense and EXTREMELY heartless, but it looks like the mods are on his side. It's so lame that he is allowed to voice his opinion, but when other people disagree with him, they're in the wrong. I'm not whining, I'm simply telling the truth. It's like orion is the "Mod's Pet" or something.
You think orion isn't on my ignore list? Pleeaase, he's been there for a long time. Occassionally, however, I will read his posts, and quite often, they are very rude. They've never brought me to tears (no offense to anyone who has cried because of his disgusting posts, but I don't let someone from the internet upset me that much...I don't let anyone upset me that much), but they have made me extremely angry.

It is no secret here that when a complaint is made about someone it is handled privately. Just because a public lashing is not viewed on the forum does not mean the situation is not being dealt with and handled appropriately.
Edited to add: I don't know Orion, and I don't really follow his posts but whether he chooses to stay or leave I wish him well.
There is an ignore feature in each members Users CP, if you really don't like someone, if they upset you that much then use it.

No, I'm angry because he has been allowed to get away with countless rude, heartless posts, and I find that absolutely disgusting. I really don't care if you think I'm immature. I think it's immature that he has been allowed to constantly make insults, and still remain here. He is spoiled. I don't care if people get mad at me for voicing my opinions.
And you are the only one that is allowed to do that? You've been quite rude recently. And angry. But when someone else does that you get upset (oh, sorry, that's right you don't get upset) and demand that they be banned. Hello pot? You are allowed to voice your opinions, Gaddy. Just like everyone else.

LOL I never said that. However, what I meant is I don't see why he is allowed to voice his rather rude opinions, and then when someone disagrees with them, oh no, they're the bad guy. You don't know me (you can't know someone by simply chatting with them occasionally on a message board), so it's quite bold of you to say I'm "angry". But duh I'm a little angry, having to deal with people like orion.
Um, ok. So it's bold of me to say you are angry even though it's obvious that you are - your statement, not mine. Orion was a great member of this forum. He sometimes got a bit heated like most people here but unlike most people he was quick to leave a hot topic alone or back off if people were getting offended. And he didn't allow people to needle him despite the many, many people who tried. I will miss having a member like that.
You missed my point....yeah maybe there are whiners, and people have taken it to heart...they posted their feelings.....and then you come behind and post your junk post....it does nothing to move the conversation forward....And IMO is a pointless, worthless post that does nothing but belittle people. But if that's how you want to be known here then.....
