I was at teh dog park and saw this short hair husky. i asked the owner if she trimmed her dog (i never seen a short hair husky) and she said it was her summer coat. i didn't know huskies shed their coat in summer, that pretty neat.
Yup, alot of double coated breeds do this. You should see the sheltie my sister handles in agility. Talk about bald. Lol. (Well, not entirely bald...just lacking in hair where as teh dog used to be a big puff ball!)
