I finally found a store near me that sell the Black Kong.
So i bought one for Bailey and have stuffed it with P/Butter.
Anyone know roughly how long i should leave it in the Freezer for......Is it like an all night thing?
I keep checking and the P/Butter isn't frozen yet.
It has been in there for about 4 hours now.

Depending on how much PB you used, it probably will take all night. Oils take a while to freeze and since the Kong is rubber, it has an insulating effect that will slow the process even further.

Your dogs will love those Kongs!!! I prepared some with the peanut butter, but some of the dogs had a bout of diarrhea, that looked like, well, Peanut Butter!!! There's recipe for making the equivalent of Frosty Paws Ice Cream that should be a fun addition to the Kong, however, that'll have to wait until winter, as the heat index has been averaging 106F.

Are you supposed to freeze the peanut butter?

I bought a red kong for Gordy for Christmas. I was just looking over it, and realised I got the small size. He is a 8 month old Beagle. Is this the right size for him? Or should it be medium?

I can take it back, but all they had were the large and the small so I would have to wait a while for new stock.

I've never actually frozen it with the peanut butter. I also used to put small dog bones inside it and CJ would go crazy trying to get them out.

Smokey gets diarrhea from peanut butter too. I cut a couple of slices of Natural Balance food rolls into shapes that fit into the Kong, and she gets them all out in about an hour of chewing and rolling it. She has alot more patience than I ever had. ;) She has the red Kong Ball. http://www.dogtoys.com/kongstuffball.html

I don't put anything in Gunnar's kong. Just throw it around the back yard, he loves it because it bounces all different directions. We have the jumbp size black one that weighs about a pound. Unfortunately, I threw it up real high in the air one day, and it came about 2' short of clearing our pool. It tore right thru the cover and is now at the bottom of the pool till spring! :(
