... I ordered TWO packs of these from Kane at work.

Izzie's gonna be happy as a hog in **** when i bring them home! Especially since the troll down in my basement keeps letting the dogs take them in the backyard where they get all gross and i have to throw them out.

That is all!

These are Sierra's favourite things on the planet. We haven't been able to get them in recently at work (we get them through a different supplier and they keep getting backordered... I hadn't thought of trying Kane) and I've only got one left at home that still squeaks. It's hidden away for a special occasion until I know I can buy more!

I've just been buying them at petsmart for convenience but they're costing me a ton there with the markup. So i figured since Kane has them i might as well order them, we order every week and they get here fast (order sunday, pickup from warehouse monday, shipping tuesday, get here wednesday around the time i pick up my paycheque :) )

How do you all stand the sound of your dogs chewing, chomping, or ripping tennis balls???

Ella would LOVE tennis balls, but they are ONLY for fetch in this house. We didn't take away her tennis ball from other day fast enough, and she snuck it inside, and was chomping on it last night, and I wanted to rip my own hair out listening to her chomp on that thing.
It makes this soggy, scraping noise because of that NASTY felt material.

I just ordered two 2.5" kong balls for her chuck-it last night so that I do not have to use tennis balls.

She also LOVES the Air Kong toys, but again, those are a no-go in my house.
She also destroys tennis balls SUPER fast if they are not strong enough.

Lol i stand it because my dogs are 17lbs each (give or take) and don't chomp through them! :)

I try to keep them as fetch only balls but sometimes that doesn't happen, the squeaker only usually gets broken and only if Chai gets ahold of them. I prefer the squeaker coz it gets Izzie going sooo much. Takes her two favourite things, squeaker toys an balls, and puts them into a convenient tiny package.

Believe me if i had a destructive dog, i wouldn't be buying the air kong stuff!!! Too pricey!

I think the squeaking masks the sound of tennis ball chomping. As soon as the squeaker is broken I let her have it for a little while longer but it's usually thrown out pretty promptly

Well, to be fair, Ella really isn't a destructor of toys.:lol-sign:

With tennis balls, usually a chomp or two of it being in her mouth is enough to crack them in half.

With tennis ball-type toys, if allowed, she'll rip the felt off of them.

But she's good with her orbees and cuz toys.:D

She'll eventually destroy a stuffie, so I don't give her those.
