Has anyone ever read the book, I think it's called "the boy named it"

It's a true story and wow its absolutely heartbreaking. The family had a few kids can't remember how many but he was the only one treated badly. she would lock him in the bathroom and mix clorox with toilet cleaner or something and leave him in there for a bit with the fumes.

That book made me almost cry in a few spots. It's like, really, how sick in the head to you have to be to treat your own flesh and blood that way?

I wasn't so much of a fan of the next two in that line...they tried too hard to hammer home the point that "i went through hell but now look at the awesome and well-adjusted person i am now!" Very little was mentioned about the side-effects of being raised that way...it was glossed over too much in my opinion.
