Is there something wrong with me?

I am seriously the worst when it comes to picking guys. Here is the list of the guys that I have been blessed with.

Guy #1 - things were going great, he came out of the closet. Woohoo. I have a new gay bestfriend. I can live with that. Wicked guy.

Guy #2 - Adored him. He mugged someone, beat them up and they later died in the hospital. He was charged with manslaughter. Needless to say didn't work out. How fun. A new pen pal!

Guy #3 - one of those wise beyond his years, knows what to say type. Six months later full fledge druggie. Great. Now when I volunteer at the soup kitchen at least there will be a friendly face.

Note the sarcastic comments. I'm young and bitter. Anyone want to tell me how to properly screen males? Because I really suck at it.


At least I found out pretty early in all cases. The gay guy and are still really good friends. So I guess there is a positive to every negative.

Where you meet the guys can play a part in it.

On the whole you will come to meet many rough ones before you find your diamond.

Just stay true to yourself and dont be walked over. Be a strong woman who knows what she wants.

Some guys out there are only interested in playing games and leading you on, so you will know certain signs from how their behaviour changes towards you after being with them a certain amount of time.

Some just want one thing, and others are on a rebound (most annoying).

I think meeting someone you know before hand, eg work collegue, school friend, or a friend of a friend then at least you have some kind of history to go on.

I have always tried to become friends first and then let it lead wherever.

If its meant to be then it will.

But believe me you are not alone in becoming a magnet for the wrong type of guy,..................we have all been there,.....................Right girls.


Some guys are nice guys, some are bad pretending to be nice and some are just players.

It is a minefield but its one we have all been through and some are still dodging the grenades lol lol

I have no issue with being strong. I come across as a tough cookie and usually weed out the doorknobs pretty well. I am not even going to get started on the others. These were the ones that seemed normal! I am by no means upset about it. I was more just wondering if this happens to everyone or if I just attracted guys like this.

It probably has a lot to do with where I meet people. I meet them in really awkward situations. Probably shouldn't date guys you punched out with in the first 5 minutes of meeting them.

I could write a funny TV show with all my encounters. At least I can look back and laugh. I'm sure everyone has an idiot or two in their past. I just wish it wasn't so repetitive. Ah well... be the change. I think I am just going to start taking my dogs opinions on people. When he doesn't like them they turn out to be morons. Good old Bandit has my best interest at heart.

I have a suspicion the next one is going to set my couch on fire....:lol-sign:

No there is nothing wrong with you there just aren't that many 'nice' guys out there , there are some mind you, you've just got to look really hard hehe.

Eh, unfortunetly, due to the laws of averages and how freaking skewed it is when it comes to guys, you're going to run into more sucky guys than good ones. Even this last guy that I started seeing that I thought might turn out to be kind of cool...hasn't called me in about a week.

Look at it this way, at least you're developing a good sense and aren't marrying them all first.

Such is life I'm afraid.... how long did you know the guys before you started seeing them?
