We started an intermediate class a couple of weeks ago. It's a good one, everyone in it has been working with their dogs since the beginner class.
We let all dogs off lead on the first class for the last ten minutes of class. I was afraid since Fergus is aggressive on lead, but he has been to doggy daycare a few times for socializiation and the trainer told me he would be fine. And he was, I was so happy to see him with other dogs, just doing doggy stuff. This guy loves to work and is really happy when I am putting him through his paces.
There is the GCC test at the end of this class, so we will do that. We had a clicker class in the summer and failed one part. The part where you greet another dog owner with it's dog. He lunged and barked, the other dog was doing the same.
He's getting better on lead with other dogs now so I think we have a good chance of passing.
