I Need A Doctor! (DrMom or WC!)

I need advice. I'm on Cephalexin 500mg's, and I just took it together with my Zyrtec-D allergy pill, without thinking about it. I can't find any flipping websites that tell me if that'll cause a drug interaction.

Do you guys know if it'll be okay?

hmmmm not a doctor but since one is an antibiotic and one is an antihistamine, you should be fine.

I used Cephalexin Zyrtec-D Interaction for the terms. So far, haven't found anything, so I think I'm okay.

Grammy, they didn't know I was taking Zyrtec when they gave me the antibiotics. I'm congested, so I went and bought some today and took one tonight without thinking about the antibiotics I was on. Stupid me.

I think it's okay though, I don't see any websites shouting out, "Zyrtec-D and Cephalexin will make you diiieeeee!"

I think you will be just fine. A Cephalosporin shouldn't interact with either the antihistamine or the pseudoephedrine or phelylephrine that's in the Zyrtec-D. Fluff, you will be OK.

Fluff you'll be okay.
Unless you had something like high blood sugar, or diabetes or something (have no idea if it interacts with that), but you should be fine.

And the pharmacy wouldn't know if you were taking other medications unless you told them grammy..
