Hello everyone, hope you all are well
Well finally we are settled into out new home now. We have been here a week, and we just got the internet reconnected today. Am I addicted or what? LOL
All our babies settled in fine. Peanut was the best of them all. Once we got up here and he was put back up in his aviary, in the loungeroom, he was happy as larry. Becker the cat shutdown emotionally for the first 24-36 hours. We basically let him be, and let him adjust at his own pace. We got his new cat enclosure set up, so now he can go outside within the safety of it's confines. Now he is happily curled up on the sofa, instead of hiding somewhere in a corner. He is relaxed and accepting this as home.
Max and Sugar are a bit more cuddly and sooky than normal, but they too are settling in nicely. They are enjoying walks, in a new town, with new smells and new things to see We were surprised at Peanut's adapability. Birds of his kind, don't cope with change very well. We thought he was the one that would shut down for the first day or so, but nope. swinging away in his aviary, playing with his toys just like nothing had happened LOL
So anyways I just want to say, that I"m glad to be back, and I hope to catch up with you all soon.
ETA for those that remember, Max's problem, he has had all the lumps safely removed and is recovering nicely
Thanks all
talk soon
