help!

laney b. my 5mth old dausch/aus.shep is great. but twice now in the last mth she's decided to pee on the bed, my bed. she did it last night. i had just taken her out. she pooped and then came back in. she then got on the bed and started pushing the covers behind her (strange!). then she peed. ??????
i have NO idea why she did that..... can anyone help?

I would suggest you begin crate training. This sounds to me like a dominance thing and since she has been given free run of the house, she is free to pee on the bed. There are several threads on crate training in the training section of this forum which should proove helpful.

she is crate trained. and she is usually very good about peeing outside. this seems to be a random thing, but maybe it's not so i'm looking for insight. thanks for your imput.

I would prevent her from going on the bed until she's totally housetrained.
