I'm trying to set up my e-mail account for my computer, and it's asking for my E-mail server names. I have no clue what to put, lol.

It says:
------------------------------------------------------------------------
My incoming mail server is (dropdown box) server.
Dropdown box options-
POP3
IMAP
HTTP

Incoming mail (POP3, IMAP or HTTP) server:
(fill in box)

An SMTP server is the server that is used for your outgoing e-mail.
Outgoing mail (SMTP) server:
(fill in box)
-----------------------------------------------------------------------

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

What program are you using (Outlook, Thunderbird) and who hosts your e-mail (yahoo, hotmail, ect.)?

Thanks for the replies,

Angel, It's Outlook Express and verizon.net

I looked on the website, but it would not let me do anything without signing in which I can't do because its not set up yet, lol.

Thanks dirtmcgirt, I just tried that and it says that there is a 550 error whenever I try to send anything, I guess I'll just have to stick with my yahoo account.

Thanks again :)

Have you went to Verizon.net and setup your account yet? You have to create your email account on Verizon.net before you can use Outlook Express to access it.. So you should be able to log in on Verizon.net and use your email before you can use Outlook express...

If you haven't then this error just means that your account does not exist on the verizon server..
