Personally I think the pup looks like a German Shepherd/Lab mix. Gunner @ 11 wks was 26 lbs. I believe Tira was about 19 lbs @ 10 wks.
I'd say, full grown, you might be looking at a 50+ lb dog. But, without knowing for sure what breed it is there is no real way to tell.

Definitely get the puppy formula and go to the vet. Make sure the pup is dewormed and explain the situation to the vet. They'll set you up on a vaccination schedule and give info on raising puppies.

What breed was the mother and father? How did the mother die? Why didn't the breeder keep all the pups together? Was this an accidental breeding and the person wasn't a "real" breeder? Just curious...it may help to answer your own questions to know the answers as well.:)

The puppy's mother died after running into the streets and getting hit by a car.... I was driving and saw a sign for free puppies so i just stop in to ask for one. I ask what kind of puppies they but the owner did not know themselves....so that's how i got it...

The owner of the mother didn't know what breed they were? Geez, that's irresponsible on so many levels. Didn't she at least know what breed her own dog was or who the father was?
It sounds like he's not a "breed" at all. Sounds like ya got yerself a heinz 57 (or at least 50/50) :) LOL

Unless you got the puppies from in front of the owners home you probably won't be able to find the owner again. This person had a box of 3 week old puppies from her own dog and didn't want to keep them and care for them til they were old enough. *sigh* Their fault though...and it's sad. :(

I hope you can find out what the mother was AND post a picture. :)

I think you've got a medium-large brown dog. Considering the situation, I agree she's probably a bona fide mutt! Cute little dog though!;)
