Hi my name is Tracie. I'm a Wife/Mother. I have been married for 16 years and we have a wonderful 8 year old Son Richard.
Our first pet was a cockapoo named Molly she was the buff color and she was sooooooo pretty!!!!!!
Here is my story:
Molly was 16 years of age she couldn't walk the steps any longer and was potting in the house and keeping us up at night crying.
My Husband and I procrastinated as long as we could due to our Love for her. I concidered and still do our first baby!
A little over a month ago we knew it was her time she kept crying and jumping as if she had some pain in her little body. A few weeks before this happened we took her to the Vet's and had all kinds of test done and everything turned out just fine. This made it so much harder on my Husband and I.
She began to keep us up at night crying. It was on a Sunday when she started to jump and cry out with pain we knew it was her time. The Vet's in Hagerstown send patients down to Fredrick on the weekends, we thought it was to much on Molly to drive her for a half hour so we found a Vet up in PA that was only 15 mins. away.
So we both decided to take her. We was so scared she would feel pain so we had the Vet give her a shot to put her to sleep like they do before surgery than they gave her the final shot.
My Husband and I both held her as we felt the life go out of her little body we cried so very hard but we both had to remember all the wonderful times Molly gave us. As she went we both felt peace in her, she felt so relaxed.
My Husband wanted to bring her back Home to bury her. I was so against this. I didn't want to drive Home with our baby Girl in the back seat dead. But I respected his wishes and now i'm so happy we did.
Sophie is our Maltese she is 5 years of age. She has been crying, not eating well or playing. This all began about a week ago. I took Sophie to the Vet's she checked out fine. The Vet's seem to think Sophie is mourning for Molly.
After losing one baby we sure didn't want to lose our Sophie as well so we began looking. I found an add in the paper, a Lady was getting rid of a 5mon. old Chorkie. I looked the breed up on the Internet and than called her.
We decided to get her we named her Chole. When we first brought her home Sophie acting a bit nerves I thought "What did I do now?" but after a few day's they are doing really well ! They run and play we get laughing so hard at both of them. :lol-sign:
I decided to join this forum for many different reasons. I'm happy I found it.....
