Green Poo

Hi, does anyone know what green poo means? My dog hasn't been eating well the past 3 days and his poo is green. He is on a raw diet and we have been feeding him beef mostly but also some chicken.

Also if you PM Mordy she is excellent at advising the supplements needed for a Raw diet (if you aren't already using any )

I know very little about Raw Diets, but from the information that i have read here you need to supplement b/c feeding Raw meat alone doesn't give them all the Minerals and Vitamins required.

What kind of treats do you give? Greenies, Nylabone Edibles, and the sort will give your dog green stools, diarrhea, loss of appetite, and could get lodged in her small intestine.

any chance your pup is eating grass? mine do that sometimes when they don't feel well (also sometimes when they feel fine). if they eat enough, they have green stools for a day. if it is continuing, I'd have your pup checked, or at least call and ask the vet. the techs at my vet's office are really great about those types of questions.

thanks everyone for the comments. I didn't find out what made him start pooing green but he is better now and yesterday his appetite came back to normal. since he spends so much time in front of the fan it "might" have been because he got a cold or something.

debi: I live in Kuwait so if anything he is eating sand lol
